I want to pay you!

In August 2018 I made my first sale of a 3D printed product.

A whopping $9.98 but after the Etsy Fees, my cost of goods (which I was not tracking at all) I think I was lucky to make $5.00 if that.

Around that same time I was still getting large deposits from my work as a Real Estate Broker. We were talking $8k, $10k, even $15k checks from real estate deals.

Would you believe me if I told you I was more excited about that $9.98 then those real estate checks?

Well it’s true. That $9.98 to me represented freedom. Those real estate checks were great but the work never stopped and had gotten to be a grind. The late night contract writing, the Saturday and Sunday showings, the long gaps between checks.

Now it’s not to say that Real Estate can’t be a great career. Some people thrive on it and love chasing that next deal. For me though It had taken its tole and I was completely burnt out.

That $9.98 was light in what seemed like a dark tunnel. It was hope to be able to do something I was excited about.

Fast forward almost 7 years later and here I am with the ability to be writing this while sitting in a Panera Bread at 9:20 am on a Thursday. Direct deposits coming in weekly from Etsy, Amazon, and Shopify and generating more revenue from Etsy alone then I did as a broker in my best year.

The point isn’t to brag…(Ok maybe a little that’s the point 😂). The point is to show its possible, but it doesn’t happen over night.

7 years into this and I’m just now to the point where I can start to bring in some help. I’m looking for talented individuals to join all different aspects of our team from model creation to video production.

Maybe you don’t have any 3D printing experience but you do know how good videos are made and you are interested in the 3D printing space. I want to hire you!
